JEWELRY CARE

Atabex, Keko and Kiki kindly ask that you wear them with care.

All İTÄ pieces are made of solid 14K yellow, white, or rose gold. Some pieces feature enamel or precious stones, which are ethically sourced.

If your İTÄ piece has enamel please keep it away from extreme cold or heat to avoid potential melting or cracking.

Like most fine chains, our chains can be delicate and should be treated carefully. Do not pull or tug on them.

Please use caution when applying hairsprays, lotions, colognes and perfumes when wearing İTÄ jewelry. These harsh chemicals may cause the precious metals to tarnish. If needed, clean in cool water to remove the oils from daily wear. We recommend a periodic professional cleaning.

Jewelry, especially gold, scratches with daily wear. We hope this means you love your pieces as much as we do. Use our pouches and boxes to protect your jewels when not being worn.

REPAIRS

We want you to love your İTÄ piece forever. Should the need arise, please contact Client Care for information regarding repairs. Repairs will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Most repairs are shipped back to our atelier in Istanbul and can take between 4-10 weeks, depending on the nature of the repair.

Where is ITÄ located?

ITÄ is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico and our production ateliers are in Istanbul, Turkey. We currently do not have a physical store or showroom.

Why Puerto Rico and Turkey?

ITÄ's co-designers and friends Inés and Äfet are from San Juan and Istanbul, respectively. It was important for them to create fine jewelry pieces that honored their ancestral roots while achieving the excellence in craftsmanship each story and design deserves. How can I view the collection?

The entirety of our collection is available on our website itajewelry.com. If you wish to see the pieces in person, we also offer a try-at-home service in addition to virtual appointments. What materials does ITÄ use?

ITÄ pieces are crafted in solid 14K or 18K gold with precious and/or semi-precious gemstones. Some pieces feature hand-crafted enamel.

We may from time to time create pieces with silver chains or silver base. Please read our product descriptions carefully for details on composition. For more information visit our Craftsmanship statement.

What payment methods can I use?

Our payment methods include: Shopify Payments and Shopify Installments, Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Discover, Paypal, ApplePay, Google Pay, ATH Móvil Business, Venmo Business and Bank Deposit.

Shipping

What are the shipping and availability timeframes?

Orders are processed pending item availability and credit card verification. Most pieces are individually made and require a 3-4 week shipping window. If the piece you have ordered is in stock, it will be dispatched within 48 hours (business days). If you live in Puerto Rico or Turkey, local messenger delivery is available. For orders within the United States, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, we choose 2-day shipping in the case of Fedex or 3-day priority shipping in the case of USPS. We wish to accommodate our customers’ delivery requests if it is in our ability and hope to offer international shipping very soon. For more information please contact us here.

Where does ITÄ ship?

We are currently fulfilling orders to the US, Puerto Rico and Turkey via our online store. Worldwide shipping is coming soon. If you are joining us from any other location, please do not hesitate to contact us for your order enquiries. Orders are shipped via USPS or Fedex Express. For added security, all packages are insured and we require a signature for all orders.

Does ITÄ have local delivery options?

We currently support local messenger delivery in the San Juan Metropolitan area and the greater Istanbul area at $10 rate. Local messenger delivery is complimentary on all orders above $1000. Please let us know your preferred delivery time window upon placing our order and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Returns

What is ITÄ's return policy?

We now accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of receipt for all fine jewelry in original condition. Items must be without wear and in as shipped condition. In order to start the return or exchange process, please send us an email at clientcare@itajewelry.com.  Requests for returns will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If we feel, for any reason that the request is not reasonable, we will not accept the return. ITÄ only accepts returns for purchases made directly through ITÄ or on itajewelry.com. We do not accept returns or exchanges for pieces purchased at any of our stockists.

If I don't like my online purchase how can I return it?

If you want to return your purchase you can do so within 15 days after the order has been delivered to the delivery address. 

Please contact us here and we will arrange a collection or in the case of an exchange, we'd be happy to assist. If you would like a refund we will process the refund back to the original form of payment.
